It is the communication of data between locations or devices, two or many, where the media is wireless.
Backhaul or a Point-to-Point link is a wireless connection between two locations for high bandwidth data transfer. We may even connect two locations 50 Km apart using a PTP link. However, the distances are designed to be lower so that higher bandwidths can be carried.
Backhaul or a Point-to-Point (PTP) link is a wireless connection between two locations for high bandwidth data transfer. Typically, PTP links are below 10 Km, however, it is possible to carry a link to longer distances, even 50 Km or more. These are generally used to connect two locations, such as offices, POPs etc. on wireless where requirement is for high bandwidth. Wireless links requires Line of Site for connectivity. Also, bandwidth is distance dependent, shorter the distance, higher the bandwidth and vice-versa. Supports full 5 GHz Frequency Bands, software limited as per country regulations.
